It's a good, solid keyboard. The mechanical keys are solid, if a bit loud, but no louder than expected. Layout is good, basic QWERTY, though smaller than some ergonomic or gaming keyboards. The keys are illuminated which I thought would be unnecessary and silly; it's actually useful when working in low light.The Amazon review prompter suggests I tell you about "Typing speed" and "Weight." I type about as fast on this keyboard as I do on most others. Most of the time it's sitting on my desktop, so I don't much care about the weight. It stays put. I like that.My only complaint is CTRL-G doesn't ring a bell. I miss the bell.
